Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support complex hardware development programs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves driving execution across Cable Backplane Systems production test and signal integrity initiatives while growing into full program ownership.

This is a full-time onsite position in RTP, NC. The candidate will coordinate planning, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project coordination/management in manufacturing hardware environments.
• Ability to perform in fast-paced, unstructured, high-pressure settings with shifting priorities.
• Clear communication across technical teams and interpretation of engineering drawings/specifications.
• PMP certification preferred; travel readiness expected.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, budgeting and execution of complex hardware development projects.
• Act as a communication bridge between internal teams and Program Managers for alignment on schedules and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to keep programs on track.
• Monitor scope, timelines and financials; escalate risks, gaps and delays.
• Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles and readiness for production and capacity planning.
