Job summary

Lumafield seeks an Associate Product Manager (Hardware) to drive new hardware and on-scanner software opportunities within the Lab Solutions team. You will own discovery, prototype development, and requirements, collaborating across hardware, software, and manufacturing groups to move initiatives toward commercial success.

You will engage with engineering, sales, and marketing to translate insights into tangible product capabilities, validating opportunities with data and stakeholder alignment

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of product, engineering or applications engineering experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communicator with attention to detail.
• Able to work with engineering, sales, and marketing teams.
• Capable of fast prototyping and experimentation.
• Act as a data-backed voice of the customer within Lumafield.
• Independent but will seek guidance when needed.
• Decisive and follow-through oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform market, customer, and competitor research to identify opportunities.
• Analyze internal capabilities with the R&D team to inform discovery.
• Assist in defining new hardware product configurations and features.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Product Teams.
• Communicate initial product insights and business justification to stakeholders.
• Identify and quantify user needs and product opportunities.
• Understand customers and key industries deeply.
• Provide leadership with go/no-go recommendations based on insights.
