Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, product management, and business management to bring complex hardware and embedded software products from initiation through release.

You will coordinate delivery across global teams in an Agile environment, work with manufacturing and sourcing for release readiness, and facilitate decisions to address risks and dependencies. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

Requires 5+ years of relevant experience.
PMI/PMP, Lean Six Sigma, MBA or related certifications are preferred.
Experience in product or application development, especially electronic hardware and embedded software.
Experience in project management or project leadership roles.
Knowledge of indirect resource leadership and project budgeting/forecasting.
Familiarity with Atlassian Jira, Jama, SAP and scheduling tools.
Experience with Agile/Scrum, including Scaled Agile Framework.

Responsibilities

Partner with multi-discipline teams to create and manage project delivery plans, finances, and resource plans.
Identify dependencies, obstacles, risks, and mitigations to keep projects on track.
Drive decisions, resolve complex issues, and manage change across teams.
Communicate progress, decisions, issues, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership.
Ensure alignment across initiatives to avoid duplication or misalignment.
Contribute input to product roadmaps and delivery strategies.
