Job summary

Vantor seeks a Hardware Platform Technical Leader to drive end-to-end drone hardware projects in a high‑velocity setting. You will own system design, mentor engineers, and direct prototype launches while engaging key customers to shape the product roadmap.

The role requires hands-on leadership in autonomous drone HW, RF design resistant to EW, and familiarity with ArduPilot and PX4 platforms. Willingness to relocate to Denver is expected.

Qualifications

Hands-on expertise in autonomous drone hardware design and implementation as a tech lead.
Extensive knowledge of EW resistant RF design.
Knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric encryption and RF transmission.
Extensive familiarity with common drone HW/SW operating platforms such as ArduPilot and PX4.
Prior startup or bootstrap projects in this domain preferred.
US Citizen; ability to hold clearance desirable; willing to relocate to Denver area.

Responsibilities

System design, architecture and tradeoffs; translate concepts into physical reality.
Interviewing junior candidates, selecting and forming the team.
Design implementation, testing, production rollout.
Direct engagement with key customers.
Collaborate with software lead to launch prototypes under tight timelines.
