Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Solution Engineer to join the Raptor product team. You will collaborate with UAV OEMs and defense customers to integrate and evaluate software across edge compute systems such as NVIDIA Jetson, PX4 and ArduPilot stacks.

The role requires systems thinking, embedded hardware awareness, and strong communication to translate field experiences into technical requirements for product improvements and field deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience supporting ISR, UAS, aerospace, or defense system integrations.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, shell scripting.
• Experience with cross-compilation and toolchains.
• Good understanding of embedded systems, SoCs, and SBCs.
• Hands-on experience with low-level Linux and system design.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (serial, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).
• Experience in customer-facing roles and solution design.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Vantor Raptor customers to coordinate integration of software.
• Travel to customer sites to deliver technical product expertise.
• Characterize software performance and derive technical requirements.
• Assist with field testing and telemetry data analysis.
• Develop and convey technical requirements to product engineering.
• Contribute code within the product engineering process.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and GTM teams to define interfaces.
