Kendall Howard in Chisago City, MN is seeking a Hardware Operator for 1st or 2nd shift to install clinch fasteners and other hardware into sheet metal using insertion equipment. The role focuses on accuracy, repeatability, and efficiency according to engineering specs.

You will operate presses, adjust bowl feeders, read blueprints, inspect installations, and maintain machine reliability while keeping a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• No minimum experience or education required.
• Prior experience with hardware insertion equipment is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operate hardware presses to install clinch fasteners into sheet metal components.
• Configure and adjust bowl feeders to optimize feed rates and insertion cycles.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to confirm fastener type, placement, and orientation.
• Inspect and validate installations to meet dimensional and mechanical requirements, reporting nonconformance as needed.
• Maintain machine reliability through setup, adjustment, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following safety policies.
• Assist with other duties as assigned with fabrication and assembly processes.
