Job summary

Ganahl Lumber Co is seeking a Hardware Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the stocking crew in our Anaheim yard. The role focuses on hiring, coaching, and developing staff to build a bench for future growth and to promote Ganahl as an employer of choice.

The supervisor collaborates with management to optimize inventory, processes and hospitality to support yard success. The ideal candidate will manage inventory, coordinate with vendors, and ensure service levels while maintaining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Proficient with computer technology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must meet physical requirements, lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Experience with computerized inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily walks and communicate a game plan for the hardware team.
• Support Store Manager with real-time feedback on hospitality.
• Work with Store Manager and Vendors to maintain inventory levels and high-demand items.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with staff, vendors, and other departments.
• Operate equipment when necessary.
• Work with Store Manager to ensure Product Directory and Cycle Count commitments are met.
• Create promotional signage and update digital monitors if applicable.
