A DAY IN THE LIFE:
As a Hardware Integration & Test Engineer II, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and enhancing testing capabilities for Innoflight’s products and programs. Your expertise will ensure that product requirements are thoroughly tested and validated, contributing to improved reliability and quality. You will collaborate closely with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams, working hands-on with complex systems to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Designs Testing Strategies: Develops comprehensive test plans that validate the product requirements and features. This includes writing design and acceptance test procedures for use in engineering development and manufacturing processes.
- Creates Custom Testing Solutions: Designs test fixtures, cables, and works with the Hardware team to develop custom test boards and integrated testing setups for new products.
- Investigates Failures: Analyzes test failures, troubleshoots hardware and software issues, and presents findings to Test Review Boards for resolution.
- Enhances Testing Capabilities: Collaborates with the manufacturing operations team to improve test readability and reliability, while expanding testing capabilities as needed.
- Integrates and Troubleshoots: Partners with hardware and software teams to integrate and test products, efficiently identifying root cause issues and implementing solutions.
- Provides Accurate Estimates: Offers precise estimates for the development of testing features and procedures, ensuring effective project planning.
YOU’RE AWESOME AT:
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of laboratory test equipment such as Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, and Environmental Test Chambers, with proven experience in testing complex systems.
- Documentation and Communication: Adept at documenting test procedures, tracking issues, and communicating findings effectively across different teams.
- Hardware Troubleshooting: Experienced in working with CCA schematics to diagnose hardware issues and implement fixes.
- Linux Knowledge: Familiarity with Linux-based systems is a plus, aiding in the integration and testing of complex software products.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
- 5 or more years of experience in a similar or related role.
- Experience with complex system testing and technical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of laboratory test equipment (Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Environmental Test Chambers).
- Proven ability to document issues and present findings effectively.
- Familiarity with CCA schematics for hardware troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Linux is a plus.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The starting base salary for this position ranges from
$90,000 to $105,000 per year, depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, Innoflight offers a well-rounded compensation package that includes a Profit-Sharing Bonus and a Cash Performance Bonus to reward both individual and company performance. Additional benefits include:
