Job summary

Revel is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineering Intern to work at the intersection of software and hardware. You will write code in C, C++, Python, or Rust and build tools to help engineers interact with hardware across aerospace, automotive, energy, and manufacturing sectors.

You’ll collaborate with Forward Deployed and Software teams, assist with hardware integrations, and gain hands-on exposure to real-world hardware in customer environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Write production-quality code in C, C++, Python, or Rust.
• Build custom tools and dashboards to help engineers interact with and monitor hardware.
• Support integration of Revel with test stands, sensors, actuators, and existing customer infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and solve technical problems with customer and internal teams.
• Develop and test software that interfaces with physical hardware.
• Learn how software, firmware, and hardware systems work together end-to-end.
• Translate deployments into product feedback for software teams.
• Collaborate on real customer projects; travel to customer sites when needed.
