Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Strong programming fundamentals and experience with C, C++, Rust or similar.
• Foundational OS, architecture, or Linux knowledge helpful.
• Interest in software-hardware interaction at a low level.
• Hands-on coursework, projects, or prior internships.

Responsibilities

• Write Rust code targeting Linux userspace for embedded systems.
• Help integrate industrial hardware and learn hardware interfaces and protocols.
• Contribute to HALs enabling Revel software to talk to physical hardware.
• Develop software that communicates with sensors, actuators, and controllers.
• Learn hardware debugging with tools like logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
• Write tests and improve reliability of low-level software.
• Participate in code reviews with experienced engineers.
• Debug issues across software, OS, interfaces, and hardware.
