Job summary

Flooring Services LTD is seeking a dependable Hardware Installer to join our manufacturing team. You will install drawer rails, hinge brackets, and cabinet hardware while ensuring quality and meeting production goals.

Ideal candidates have basic math skills, can read work instructions, and work well in a fast-paced environment with hand tools and assembly equipment. Training is available; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Relevant manufacturing, assembly, woodworking, or production experience is preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in place of formal education.
  • Training is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Install drawer rails and hinge brackets on cabinet components according to specifications.
  • Install appropriate hardware on removable bottom cabinets during assembly process.
  • Inspect finished work to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
  • Collaborate with team to achieve production goals and deadlines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Assembly Department Supervisor or leadership team.

Join Our Manufacturing Team

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Hardware Installer to join our cabinet manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing drawer rails, hinge brackets, and cabinet hardware on a variety of cabinet components while ensuring quality, accuracy, and production goals are met. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on work in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Hardware Installer, you will:

  • Install drawer rails on base cabinet end panels according to specifications.
  • Install hinge brackets on cabinet end panels.
  • Install the appropriate hardware on removable bottom cabinets moving through the assembly process.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Assembly Department Supervisor or leadership team.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to distinguish between different wood species.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a measuring tape.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow work instructions.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet hourly production goals.
  • Ability to learn and safely use hand tools and assembly equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Relevant manufacturing, assembly, woodworking, or production experience is preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in place of formal education.
  • Training is available for qualified candidates.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move frequently during shifts.
  • Ability to lift and handle materials as required in a manufacturing environment.
  • Work is performed in a factory setting that may include:
    • Heavy lifting
    • Exposure to noise and dust
    • Requirements for eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators in designated areas
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to work in a non‑climate‑controlled environment for a prolonged time.
