Job summary

Leedo Cabinets LLC is seeking a dependable Hardware Installer to join our Assembly Department. You will install drawer rails, hinge brackets, and other cabinet hardware to ensure quality and production standards.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, works efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, and takes pride in precise workmanship. Prior manufacturing or assembly experience is helpful but not required.

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Hardware Installer to join our Assembly Department. In this role, you will be responsible for installing drawer rails, hinge brackets, and other cabinet hardware components to ensure our products meet quality and production standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, works efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and takes pride in producing quality work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Install drawer rails on base cabinet end panels.
• Install hinge brackets on all cabinet end panels.
• Install the appropriate hardware on removable bottom cabinets moving through the assembly line.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards while meeting hourly production goals.
• Follow all safety procedures and work instructions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Assembly Department Supervisor.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to distinguish between different wood species.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to read and use a measuring tape accurately.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet production targets.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Relevant manufacturing, assembly, or production experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Work is performed in a manufacturing/factory environment.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required, including occasional heavy lifting.
• Must be able to work in areas where personal protective equipment (PPE), including eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators, may be required.
• Ability to work safely around machinery, moving conveyors, and production equipment.
