Job summary

Leedo Cabinets LLC is seeking a Drawer Box Assembler to build Drawer Boxes, verify material quality, and follow the production schedule on the manufacturing floor.

You will be responsible for ensuring correct type, dimension, and color of materials, performing daily maintenance tasks, and maintaining clean, organized work areas while meeting hourly and daily goals. A strong safety mindset and basic English literacy are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform daily tasks including lifting large particleboard sheets or parts weighing more than 50 lbs.
• Must be able to perform written data entry tasks.
• Must be able to distinguish between different species of wood and door styles.
• Must be able to distinguish between different colors.
• Must have basic math skills and read a measuring tape and caliper in metric dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Drawer Boxes that meet Leedo quality standards.
• Check incoming material quality and tolerance per schedule.
• Maintain preventive maintenance and housekeeping for Drawer Box equipment.
• Ensure material is correct type, dimension, and color.
• Lead by example on attendance, PPE, breaks, and compliance with work center processes.
• Follow all work center processes; other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Summary

The Drawer Box Assembler is responsible for all Drawer Boxes that are built on this machine. The Drawers Box Assembler is also responsible for checking incoming material quality and tolerance as well as following the schedule. The incumbent will become Leedo's expert on all Drawer Box equipment, make the necessary adjustments for the different materials in adherence with Leedo's quality criteria, and ensure proper execution of preventive maintenance and housekeeping.

Responsible for ensuring all material is correct type, dimension, and color.

Responsible for building Drawer Boxes that meet Leedo quality standards.

Responsible for preventive maintenance action items performed daily at company standards

Responsible for complete drawer box quantity per batch within scheduled hours.

Responsible for leading by example regarding attendance, PPE requirements, breaks, and to drive compliance in all areas.

Responsible for following all the work center processes Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must be able to perform daily tasks, including lifting large particleboard sheets or parts weighing more than 50 lbs. or more.

Must be able to perform basic math skills and the ability to read a measuring tape and caliper in metric dimensions.

Education and Experience

Should have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Will take work experience and proven math, reading, and writing skills in lieu of formal education.

Experience in Quality Control is preferable.

Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions

Enclosed but not air-conditioned or heated factory environment. Will include long hours of standing, some heavy lifting, and areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators are required.
