Job summary

SageOx is building a future where humans and AI agents work as one team, with the Ox Dot serving as the first hardware device. We are seeking a full-stack engineer whose center of gravity is hardware, to stabilize and accelerate the device while building cloud services, apps, and integrated experiences.

You will own the hardware test lab, automated QA, and the end-to-end pipeline from firmware to the UI, enabling a scalable fleet of devices.

Qualifications

• Full-stack engineer with hardware focus
• Experience bridging firmware, hardware, cloud services, and user interfaces
• Ability to build development harnesses and automated testing

Responsibilities

• Drive firmware and hardware development for the Ox Dot and future devices.
• Build the development harness and extend APIs to enable agent-driven testing of a physical device.
• Stand up 24×7 automated hardware testing and a regression-detecting pipeline.
• Run the agentic software factory to enable a fleet of devices to be developed in parallel.
• Own OTA updates and fleet management, including staged rollouts and rollback strategies.
• Write cloud services and user-facing experiences that connect to the device and its twins.
• Get devices ready to ship via provisioning, first-boot, pairing and authentication processes.
• Evaluate upcoming hardware directions and bring candidate devices home for teardown.
