Amphenol Corporation's ACS division is seeking a Hardware Engineering Manager in Valley Green, PA. You will lead a team of mechanical engineers designing and testing hardware components and cable assemblies for high-speed interconnects.

You will oversee project timelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive development processes, budgeting, and staffing to meet aggressive milestones in a global organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years hardware development experience.
• 3+ years leadership/management experience in mechanical development.
• Proficient in Creo CAD.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers in design, development, and testing of hardware components and systems for custom cable assemblies.
• Oversee project timelines, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met on schedule and communicate with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including signal integrity engineering, product management, and manufacturing to ensure cohesive product development.
• Develop and implement engineering development processes and best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Manage resource allocation and budgeting for hardware development projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and foster continuous improvement and innovation.
• Direct growth planning for the team, including scaling resources and participating in interview/recruitment and onboarding.
• Conduct performance reviews and support professional growth of team members.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
