Job summary

Google is seeking a hardware engineer within the Platforms Infrastructure Engineering team to design and build systems powering its vast data centers and services. Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers, data center teams and manufacturing teams to understand and analyze hardware quality issues.
• Partner with internal hardware and software teams and external vendors to triage and root cause hardware reliability issues.
• Lead systemic changes to drive continuous improvement in fleet analysis and triage of hardware issues to get to improve speed to resolution.
• Represent the Fleet Hardware Reliability team within the broader platforms design, deployment and supply chain organizations.
