Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in hardware engineering with digital circuit instrument design.
• 3+ years in a leadership role, balancing technical contribution with team leadership.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, circuit design, and signal integrity.
• Experience with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters).
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in hardware design, testing, QA.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to manage and present to stakeholders.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with high-speed PCB design and multi-layer designs; SERDES (PCIe, 100G Ethernet).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of hardware engineers with architectural direction.
• Oversee PCB design, layout, and component selection for manufacturability.
• Collaborate with firmware, software, and mechanical engineering.
• Oversee hardware development from concept to production with timely delivery.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and risks.
• Identify opportunities for hardware process improvements and innovation.
