Job summary

Parallel Systems invites a Hardware Engineering Intern to contribute to the production readiness of next-generation battery-electric rail vehicles. This hands-on internship spans design, analysis, tooling, field testing, and failure analysis, with ownership of a subsystem from concept to implementation.

We seek rising juniors, seniors, or grads in EE, ME, robotics, or related fields who are self-motivated, communicate clearly, and thrive in cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
• Self-motivated problem solver who takes ownership and drives tasks to completion.
• Strong communication skills to present design work and test results.

Responsibilities

• Drive progress toward production readiness of next-gen vehicles.
• Own and deliver a production subsystem from concept to implementation.
• Contribute to design, testing, troubleshooting, and field validation.
• Support design reviews and documentation throughout internship.
