Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Hardware Engineering Undergraduate Intern for the 2027 cohort to join the Client Solutions Group Engineering team in Austin, Texas. You will work with a team of mechanical engineers and strategists to help define future architecture and solutions for Dell client products.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, motivated by results, innovative, team-oriented, and capable of quickly learning new technologies.

Qualifications

Enrollment in computer, electrical, or mechanical engineering or computer science with a graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028
Solid understanding of MS Office and productivity tools: Word, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Scheduling
Hardware component and systems design and development experience
Ability to create and analyze architectural and product specifications
Knowledge of high-volume manufacturing technologies and processes

Responsibilities

Incubate new products, technologies, or features that enable product innovation
Develop POC and technical specifications for new products, features, and capabilities
Perform simulation, analytical analysis, design, and physical testing for computer hardware
Interface with multi-discipline teams; adapt to new technology
Develop clear, concise reports of investigations and activities
