Job summary

QuSpectra is seeking a senior hardware designer to lead the development of mixed‑signal, RF, and microwave electronics for quantum sensing platforms in San Diego. You will own concept to production, drive schematic design, PCB layout, testing, and transition to manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in hardware design, proficiency with PCB tools, and solid knowledge of analog/digital electronics and lab measurement equipment, enabling fast, reliable hardware bring‑up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years hardware design experience.
• Proficient in PCB design tools and strong understanding of analog/digital electronics and laboratory test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electronic systems including mixed-signal, RF, and microwave hardware for quantum sensing platforms.
• Manage the full hardware lifecycle from concept and schematic design through PCB layout, fabrication, testing, and production transition.
