Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is hiring a Hardware Engineer for our Cranberry, PA facility. This hybrid role focuses on hardware design specifications for Instrumentation and Control Systems, with responsibilities spanning design documentation, component testing, and support for manufacturing processes. The role reports to the Sr.

Manager, Control & Information Systems Engineering. Travel to customer and supplier sites is possible both domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 0+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Highly motivated, self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Support development of hardware design specifications for Instrumentation and Control Systems
• Support creation of hardware design documentation such as cabinet and panel assembly drawings and cable and wiring schematics
• Support manufacturing of electronic components, cables, and cabinet/panel assemblies
• Support resolution of technical issues including obsolescence
• Support development of component test procedures and execution of functional tests
• Provide support to customers for installation and emergent technical issues
• Opportunities to travel to customer and supplier sites (domestic and international)
