Westinghouse Electric Company in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Hardware Engineer to support hardware design specifications for Instrumentation and Control Systems. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Control & Information Systems Engineering in a hybrid role.

The position involves creating documentation, cabinet/panel drawings, wiring schematics, supporting manufacturing, and testing. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 0+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong communication skills.
• Highly motivated, self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Support development of hardware design specifications for Instrumentation and Control Systems.
• Support creation of hardware design documentation such as cabinet and panel assembly drawings and cable and wiring schematics.
• Support manufacturing of electronic components, cables, and cabinet/panel assemblies.
• Support resolution of technical issues including obsolescence.
• Support development of component test procedures and execution of functional tests.
• Provide support to customers for installation and emergent technical issues.
• Opportunities to travel to customer and supplier sites (domestic and international).

As a Hardware Engineer you will support development of hardware design specifications for Instrumentation and Control Systems

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year.
