Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace’s SGN COE is seeking a Hardware Engineer I to help design and validate high-performance hardware for MEMS and ring laser gyro technologies. You will collaborate across teams from concept to production on schematic capture and PCB layout, under the Guidance of the Engineering Manager.

The role offers hybrid work from Minneapolis, MN or Clearwater, FL, and mentorship in a culture of technical excellence and design speed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• Strong knowledge of hardware design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
• Familiarity with hardware testing and validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the hardware design process from concept to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications.
• Support the design and development of complex hardware systems, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Execute worst-case analyses by employing circuit theory.
