RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, test, manufacture, and support advanced electrical subsystems used in extreme battlefield environments. You will develop high‑reliability CCAs and work across multidisciplinary teams from design through lab integration.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a DoD Secret clearance. You’ll contribute to RF, microwave, analog/digital electronics work, perform tests, and document data packages.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM discipline.
• Experience or coursework with RF, Microwave, Analog, Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design or Analysis, Power Electronics, VHDL, FPGA, Electrical Components, Digital Signal Processing, or PCB design.
• Experience operating laboratory test and measurement equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, waveform/function generators, spectrum analyzers, or network analyzers) to test hardware, interface with sensors, or measure electrical signals.
• Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsabilidades

• Design, model, and analyze electrical subsystems, components, and circuit card assemblies (CCAs) across broad mission architectures.
• Support guidance section electronics development, including subsystem integration, test conduction, and GPS/IMU interface support.
• Perform system-level and circuit-level electrical analysis, simulation, and component evaluations.
• Execute hands‑on integration, characterization, and troubleshooting of electronic hardware within laboratory and production environments.
• Support failure investigations, root‑cause analysis, and technical problem‑solving alongside cross‑functional engineering teams and external suppliers.
• Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation, test procedures, and design data packages.
