Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Hardware Electrical Engineering Organization and contribute to the design, test, manufacture, and mission support of advanced electrical subsystems for defense applications.

This onsite role requires a DoD Secret clearance and offers a salary range of $68,900 to $131,100 per year, with comprehensive benefits. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams on CCAs, RF/analog/digital electronics, and lab integration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience or coursework in RF, Microwave, Analog, Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, or PCB design.
• Experience operating lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
• Experience may come from coursework, projects, or on-the-job work.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and analyze electrical subsystems and CCAs across mission architectures.
• Support GPS/IMU interface integration and testing within guidance electronics.
• Perform system- and circuit-level analysis, simulation, and component evaluations.
• Hands‑on integration, characterization, and troubleshooting in lab and production environments.
• Support root‑cause investigations and technical problem‑ solving with cross‑functional teams.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and test procedures.
