Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems in Fremont, CA is seeking a Hardware Designer to design mechanical components, release drawings, and BOMs, supporting manufacturing with ECN processes. The role requires strong 3D CAD modeling using NX, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks, and experience with sheet metal, welding symbols, and GD&T.

# Hardware Designer 2Apply**Job#: 3053008****Job Description:****Location:** Fremont, CA (Onsite)**Duties:*** Design & Development of mechanical components and release engineering drawings, and bills of materials (BOM) using Engineering Change Management to support manufacturing.* Create 3D electrical and pneumatical harness routing using CAD packages.* Develop multi-CAD layouts for Lam products and manage larger 3D assemblies.* Highly skilled in 3D CAD modeling tools such as Siemens NX, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and others.* Proficiency in concept design and development for mechanical components or sub-systems.* Knowledge in creating drawings for sheet metal and machined parts.* Experience with metal machining and sheet metal fabrication and casting processes.* Fundamental understanding of mechanical engineering, engineering/design methods and processes, and engineering drawing.* Solid knowledge on welding symbols, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols, surface finish, and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) drafting standards.* Originate and design mechanical parts and subassemblies and create layouts to support product design and technology development* Work on continuous improvement projects to enhance performance while reducing cost* Participate in cross-functional teams with product engineering, program management, manufacturing, field service, and supply chain to define specifications and complete the full design cycle* Create production drawings, develop precise CAD assemblies, and conduct design reviews in support of design efforts**Skills:**1.
