Job summary

Arista Networks in Nashua, NH is seeking a motivated Hardware Design Intern to join our team. You will gain hands-on experience designing and testing networking hardware and learning the latest switch technologies.

Work with the Hardware Design Team on board-level characterization, PCB schematic capture, layout, component evaluation, and lab support. Candidates pursuing EE/CE/Physics with junior-year coursework and strong communication are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics (in progress).
• Junior year coursework completed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Board-level hardware characterization and in-lab debugging.
• PCB design from architecture definition including schematic capture and layout.
• Evaluate components and perform eval board testing.
• Rework and assembly of systems; miscellaneous lab duties.
