Job summary

Arista Networks is seeking a Hardware Engineering Intern to join the Nashua, NH team. You will contribute to board-level characterization, testing, and design activities while gaining exposure to modern networking hardware and FPGA/CPLD workflows.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, collaboration with mentors, and opportunities to lead small design tasks, including schematic capture and PCB layout, with the chance to work on real products.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in E.E., C.E., or Physics with strong fundamentals.
• Completed at least junior year coursework.
• Excellent communication; able to work in teams or independently.
• Desirable: personal electronics projects, PCB design, and coding/scripting experience.

Responsibilities

• Board level hardware characterization, verification, and in-lab debugging.
• PCB design from architecture definition, including schematic capture, and board layout.
• Evaluate components and eval board testing.
• Rework and assembly of systems.
• Misc lab work (moving of items, mechanical assembly).
