Job summary

ManpowerGroup seeks a Hardware Engineer 5_USD to join their SSD hardware team in Longmont, Colorado. You will design and optimize high-performance SSD hardware architectures, focusing on signaling integrity and power integrity while partnering with firmware and diagnostics teams.

You will lead design activities for scalable manufacturing, apply DFx and cost-reduction strategies, and perform rigorous lab measurements using high-bandwidth equipment.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering; MS preferred.
• 10+ years of hardware design, signal integrity, and power-supply design experience.
• Proficiency with PCB design tools Cadence PCB, Allegro, and Si/Pi analysis.
• Experience with SATA, SAS, PCIe Gen3/4, and ONFI interfaces.
• Hands-on lab experience with high-bandwidth measurement equipment and PCIe testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop next-generation SSD hardware architectures, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Model, simulate, and analyze high-speed signaling and power delivery designs, including PDN simulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet firmware, diagnostic, and system requirements.
• Perform signal and power integrity measurements and document results.
• Lead hardware design efforts for large-scale manufacturing with DFx and cost optimization.
