Job summary

Randstad Digital Americas in Los Angeles area seeks an experienced Hardware Asset Manager to own end-to-end hardware lifecycle, drive data integrity in ServiceNow, and partner with cross-functional teams. You will manage inventory, logistics, and audits while coordinating with procurement, information security, and finance to support lifecycle strategy.

The role requires 5+ years in ITAM/IT operations, ServiceNow expertise, and strong auditing skills.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in IT Asset Management, Service Desk, Desktop Support, or IT Operations.
• Platform Expertise: ServiceNow or a comparable enterprise ITAM platform.
• Skills: Auditing, inventory control, and strong organizational capabilities.
• Tech Concepts: Familiarity with CMDB, ITIL best practices, and configuration management.
• Physical: Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs and perform storage/inventory tasks.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End hardware lifecycle ownership from receiving to disposal.
• Manage local storage, inventory levels, and physical stock.
• Oversee vendor repairs, warranty replacements, and office moves.
• Perform physical audits and generate metrics.
• Maintain asset records and CMDB relationships in ServiceNow.
• Support CMDB audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical gear and records.
• Collaborate with Hardware Asset Manager, Software Asset Manager, and Change Manager.
• Serve as LA local point of contact for hardware asset initiatives.

Duration: Open Ended w2 Contract

Location: 100% onsite in Inglewood, CA 90305, 3 days remote

Shift: M-F 8AM-4 PM PT

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Hardware Lifecycle & Inventory Operations

• End-to-End Lifecycle: Lead receiving, deployment, assignment, recovery, refresh, redeployment, and eco-friendly disposal.
• Storage & Logistics: Manage local storage rooms, spare parts, inventory levels, shipping/receiving, and physical stock.
• Vendor & Project Ops: Oversee vendor repairs, warranty replacements, returns, office moves, and special hardware refreshes.
• Audits & Metrics: Perform physical inventory audits, reconciliations, and generate performance/accuracy metrics.

CMDB & Configuration Management Support

• ServiceNow Ownership: Maintain precise asset records, repositories, and asset-to-CI (Configuration Item) relationships.
• Data Integrity: Support CMDB audits, certifications, and reconcile discrepancies between physical gear and virtual records.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner directly with the Hardware Asset Manager to standardize governance, processes, and reporting.
• Work with the Software Asset Manager / Change Manager to support refresh planning, licensing, and lifecycle strategy.
• Serve as the primary LA point of contact for all local hardware asset initiatives.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Experience: 5+ years in IT Asset Management (ITAM), Service Desk, Desktop Support, or IT Operations.

Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (or a comparable enterprise ITAM platform).

Skills: Exceptional auditing, inventory control, and organizational capabilities.

Tech Concepts: Familiarity with CMDB concepts, ITIL best practices, and configuration management principles.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs., stand, bend, reach, and occasionally use ladders for storage and inventory tasks.
