Job summary

Alpitronic Americas LLC is seeking an Analysis Engineer to establish and structure the repair and analysis for power electronics equipment, including field returns and production units.

You will work cross-functionally with service, production, logistics, procurement and product quality to ensure timely, efficient repair and analysis activities. Strong root-cause capability, documentation, and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience with failure analysis techniques (FMEA, 8D, RCA).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with quality control/manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Experience in power electronics development and/or failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed failure analyses to determine root cause of product, component, or system failures.

• Implement tests to replicate failure modes and validate corrective actions.
• Propose corrective actions.
• Create and maintain documentation of failures and analyses.
• Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Quality to implement improvements.
• Utilize statistical tools to analyze failure data and trends.
• Conduct risk assessments to prevent future failures.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job description

Objective

As an Analysis Engineer you will establish and structure the repair and analysis for the following areas:

• Execution and documentation of analysis and repairs, including field returns and production units
• Customer facing, manage customer concerns, 360 degree analysis
• Identification of root causes, development of repair strategies, and continuous improvement of analysis methods

You will also ensure repair and analysis activities are completed on time, efficiently and in a coordinated manner across departments (service, production, logistics, procurement, product quality).

Responsibilities

• Performing detailed failure analyses to determine the cause of product, component or system failures
• Analyze failure reports and determine the root cause of the issues
• Implementing tests to replicate failure modes and validate corrective actions
• Make proposals for corrective actions
• Creating and maintaining documentation of failures and their corresponding analyses
• Collaborating with R&D, Production, and Quality teams to implement process and product improvements
• Utilizing statistical tools and software to analyze failure data and trends
• Perform risk assessments to prevent future failures
• Presenting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports and presentations
