Job summary

Landscaping by J Michael is seeking a capable Foreman for hardscape installations in Massachusetts. You will manage up to three crew members, overseeing walks, patios, and retaining walls, with hands-on masonry work including stone walls and granite steps.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in hardscape and masonry, can read plans, operate levels, lasers, and elevations, and hold a valid driver's license with DOT card; CDL B and hydraulic licenses are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in hardscape and masonry
• Ability to read plans/drawings
• Use levels, lasers, bench marks and elevations
• Operate skid steers, mini excavators, dingos and other power equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid DOT Health Card or ability to obtain prior to starting
• Hydraulic license and CDL B license preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead up to 3 crew members on hardscape installations (walks, patios, retaining walls)
• Oversee masonry work including natural stone walls, bluestone patios and granite steps

Job Duties:

Work and manage up to 3 crew members performing hardscape installations such as walks, patios and retaining walls. Foreman should have experience in building natural stonewalls, bluestone patios, granite steps and other masonry work.

• 5+ year experience working in hardscape and masonry industry.
• Ability to read plans and drawing.
• Use levels, lasers, bench marks and elevations.
• Operator skid steers, mini excavators, dingos, all power equipment,
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid DOT Health Card or ability to obtain prior to starting.
• Hydraulic license and CDL B license preferred
