Job summary

Designs by Stonescapes in Henderson, Colorado is seeking a Working Hardscape Foreman to lead our field crew and turn outdoor design plans into reality. This on-site role requires hands-on leadership, safety oversight, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

As a foreman, you will direct daily installations, manage timelines, document progress, and communicate with project managers and clients to ensure client satisfaction and project success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading hardscape or landscape construction crews.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of hardscape materials, base prep, grading, and installation.
• Basic organizational skills for tracking hours, materials, and notes.
• Dependable work ethic with a positive team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage a field installation crew on active job sites.
• Execute and oversee hardscape projects (paver patios, walls, walkways, fire features).

Role Overview

As a working foreman, you will be on-site leading by example, directing daily installations, maintaining project timelines, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage a field installation crew of 4 or more team members on active job sites.
• Execute and oversee hardscape projects, including paver patios, retaining walls, walkways, fire features, and related outdoor masonry.
• Complete basic daily paperwork, including crew time tracking, material logging, and project progress reporting.
• Maintain clear communication with project managers and clients.
• Ensure company equipment, tools, and safety standards are properly maintained on-site.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing and leading crews of 4+ members in hardscaping or landscape construction.
