Job summary
Mariani Premier Group in Michigan, Petoskey, seeks a Hardscape Installation Technician. You will install boulders, natural stone features, and retaining walls, read site plans, and operate skid steers and excavators while ensuring drainage and stability.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hardscape experience, knowledge of Versa-Lok/Belgard/Unilock, a valid Michigan driver's license, and the ability to lead small crews and work outdoors in varying weather.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hardscape installation experience.
- Experience with boulder work and retaining wall systems.
- Knowledge of drainage, base materials, and construction best practices.
Responsibilities
- Construct boulder walls, natural stone features, and manufactured block retaining walls per design plans and safety standards.
- Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and layout designs for hardscape projects.
- Operate skid steers, excavators, compactors and other machinery for grading and stone installation.
- Ensure proper base preparation, drainage, and structural stability of stonework.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet timelines and client expectations.
