Job summary

Landscaping by J. Michael on the South Shore in Massachusetts seeks an Experienced Foreman to lead crews on masonry and landscape construction projects, including natural stone walls, Bluestone, pavers, walks, patios and segmented walls.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of masonry/landscape experience, a valid MA driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card; a hydraulic license and CDL B are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 year experience in the masonry and landscape construction industry required.
• Valid Massachusetts Driver's License
• Hydraulic license preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
• CDL B Preferred
• Assignment to Prevailing Wage Jobs (must meet specific requirements)

Responsibilities

• Manage crew members on team, provide proper layout of products prior to start of projects.
• Assist in the construction of walkways, patios, walls and other decorative installations
• Operate various equipment and toolsincluding cut off saws, angle grinders, mason trowels, compactors, laser levels, shovels, hammers, skid steers and mini excavators
• Maintains vehicle and equipment through cleanliness, safety and general maintenance
