Job summary

D&B Supply in Homedale, Idaho is seeking a customer-focused retail associate to sell merchandise on the floor and help with carry-outs, stocking, and restocking across automotive, electrical, plumbing, and housewares.

You will advise customers on features, support inventory and merchandising, assist with special orders, and move merchandise using hand trucks or pallet jacks; the role requires standing most of the shift and lifting up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of horses and tack.
• Knowledge of retail floor sales techniques.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Ability to sort, count, and verify numbers.
• Ability to resolve difficult or stressful customer service issues.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience with visual merchandising is desired.

Responsibilities

• Sell merchandise and advise customers on price and features.
• Provide product knowledge and suggest accessories.
• Assist customers with specialized merchandise orders.
• Receive and display merchandise per policies and standards.
• Answer phones and handle routine inquiries.
• Maintain floor and merchandise condition and safety.
• Participate in inventory cycle activities.
• Move material using handling tools and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
