Job summary

D&B Supply in Boise, Idaho is seeking a customer service oriented associate to sell merchandise on the sales floor and assist in restocking and carry-outs. This role focuses on automotive, electrical, plumbing, housewares, and other non-clothing departments.

The position requires knowledge of horses and tack, strong retail sales skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods is needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sell merchandise and advise customers on price and features.
• Provide product knowledge and suggest accessories.
• Assist customers in ordering specialized merchandise.
• Assist in receiving and displaying merchandise according to policies and standards.
• Answer phones and handle routine inquiries.
• Maintain floor appearance and safeguard merchandise.
• Participate in inventory cycles.
• Move material using tools and equipment including forklifts or hand trucks.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
