Christy Sports in Avon, CO is hiring a Hardgoods Sales Associate to help guests choose skis, boards, boots, and bindings, and to provide expert bootfitting and personalized service on the sales floor.

You will share knowledge of gear, stay current with industry trends, and maintain a welcoming shop environment while supporting a team that values customer experience and mountain lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, friendly and can talk ski or board shop all day.
• Strong interest in skiing or snowboarding.
• Flexible with schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Basic computer skills for processing transactions and documentation.
• Strong English fluency, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and guide them to the right skis, snowboards, boots, and bindings.
• Provide personalized bootfitting to ensure comfort and readiness for adventure.
• Share gear knowledge and industry trends with customers.
• Keep the shop clean, well-displayed, and inviting.
• Create memorable experiences for beginners and experts alike.
• Support the team to keep the shop running smoothly.
