Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Hard Surface Territory Manager to grow sales across Portland, ME, and nearby markets. You will manage relationships with dealers, designers and end-users, promoting Shaw hard surface products, samples, displays and accessories.

The role requires a high school diploma, prior sales experience, comfort with Windows/MS Office, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and set up fixtures. Residency in Portland, ME or nearby NH area is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous sales experience is required.
• Ability to interface with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Must be able to use a laptop and basic Microsoft Windows software (MS Office).
• Must be physically able to assemble and take down display fixtures.
• Territory travel with a vehicle (SUV/van) and lifting 50 lbs regularly.
• Residence within the Portland, ME or surrounding territory (Portland ME, Concord NH, Salem NH).

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily sales calls on existing customers emphasizing hard surface flooring products, samples, displays, adhesives and related products.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users; analyze leads provided by corporate.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50 lbs or more.
• Prospect for new accounts and monitor activities within the designated geography.
• Prepare and communicate periodic sales reports with volume, goals and market needs.
• Analyze sales statistics using reports to set goals and support dealers.
• Monitor travel and entertainment expenses and sample budgets to fit company targets.
• Enter customer interactions and key data into Salesforce.com.
• Promote residential Shaw Floors products (A/T and Philly Commercial) and educate customers.
