Goodwill Houston is seeking a Hard Lines Merchandising Specialist to sort and price hard goods donated to the store. You’ll research value, classify sellable items, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

This role requires attention to detail, safety, and customer service during daily donations and floor replenishment. The position emphasizes accurate pricing, efficient processing, PPE use, and assisting donors and customers.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong math and basic counting skills.
• Effective communication with diverse customers.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Able to work a flexible schedule and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Sort and grade hard goods donations according to guidelines to maximize production.
• Research merchandise value using baseline pricing or online platforms to price merchandise.
• Price and prepare items for the sales floor and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Utilize PPE and follow safety procedures; assist with loading/unloading donations as needed.
• Assist with unloading donations, inventory checks, and donor interactions; support store operations and upkeep.
