Goodwill Houston is seeking a Hard Lines Merchandising Specialist to sort hard goods donations, categorize sellable items, and price merchandise for the sales floor. You will backroom process donations, ensure efficient, cost-effective operations, and support profitability for the mission.

Responsibilities include researching values, pricing using guides or online platforms, maintaining a clean workstation, and assisting with donor interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Able to perform basic math and handle pricing tasks.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and stand for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Sort and grade hard goods donations to maximize production.
• Research merchandise value and price items using pricing guides or online platforms.
• Identify items for eCommerce and hand to manager on duty.
• Maintain PPE usage and safe, organized workstation.
• Assist with unloading donations and loading/unloading equipment as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and keep areas clean, safe, and organized.
