Goodwill Houston is seeking a Hard Lines Merchandising Specialist to sort hard goods donations, price items, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor. You will apply GWH pricing guidelines and, when needed, use tools like Google Lens or online marketplaces to determine value.

In this role, you will maintain a clean workstation, assist donors, support safety with PPE, and help maximize profitability while supporting the mission of transforming lives through work.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Effective communication with diverse customers.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule required.
• Reliable transportation available.

Responsabilidades

• Sort and grade hard goods donations according to quality guidelines.
• Research merchandise value and price items using pricing guides or online tools.
• Assist with donation processing and pricing prep for sales floor.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation throughout the shift.
• Greet customers and answer questions about store operations.
• Operate donation tablet and assist donors.
• Perform housekeeping and safety tasks.
• Report incidents and injuries promptly.
