Job summary

Responsibilities include carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting and plastering; inspect equipment; perform preventive maintenance; remove snow; and assist with supervision when the building superintendent is away. A high school diploma and three years of related experience are required.

• Some heavy lifting may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and plastering work.
• Inspects building and equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance to ensure proper working conditions.
• Removes snow and spreads salt as needed.
• In the absence of a building superintendent, may assist with the supervision of building employees and arrange work schedules.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
