Job summary

iStaffing is seeking a reliable Handyman/Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep across a warehouse facility. You will ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment by addressing routine repairs, conducting preventative maintenance, and supporting facility improvement projects.

Responsibilities include inspecting areas, repairing doors, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and carpentry, using hand and power tools, and recording maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, commercial, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as needed.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and at heights using ladders or lifts.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain warehouse grounds and assist with exterior maintenance.
• Respond to maintenance requests and address safety hazards.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper tool storage.
• Keep records of completed repairs and maintenance activities.

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman/Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep throughout a warehouse facility. This position will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and functional work environment by addressing routine repairs, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with facility improvement projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform general building and facility maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections of the warehouse, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, shelving, fixtures, walls, ceilings, and other facility components.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Replace light bulbs, fixtures, and other basic facility components as needed.
• Assist with preventative maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
• Maintain warehouse grounds and assist with basic exterior maintenance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address safety hazards.
• Keep work areas clean and organized and properly store tools and materials.
• Maintain accurate records of completed repairs and maintenance activities.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and facility procedures.
• Assist with moving equipment, materials, and furniture as needed.
• Perform other maintenance and facility-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in warehouse, commercial, industrial, or building maintenance preferred.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as required.
• Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and occasionally working at heights using ladders or lifts.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and environments.
• Must be able to safely perform physical maintenance tasks throughout the facility.
