Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. is seeking a Handyman in Fresno, CA to perform a range of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks ensuring facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently while upholding safety standards. Responsibilities include repairing doors, fixtures, plumbing and electrical components, performing carpentry and painting, and coordinating with contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of general maintenance, facilities, construction, or handyman experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, manuals, and safety procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work on buildings, offices, and facilities.
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, windows, walls, ceilings, flooring, and fixtures.
• Conduct repairs, including faucets, toilets, light fixtures and bulbs.
• Complete carpentry work including repairs, installations, and modifications.
• Paint and perform touch-up work as needed.
• Inspect facilities regularly and identify maintenance needs or potential safety concerns.
• Assemble, install, and move furniture, equipment, and office fixtures.
• Maintain building grounds, walkways, and exterior areas.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and outstanding repairs.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors when specialized services are required.
• Follow all company safety policies and applicable building regulations.

Job Summary

Compensation Range: $38 - $42 per hour
