Job summary

Havasu Landing Resort & Casino is seeking a Water & Sewer Operator/Trainee 2 to provide safe drinking water for the Chemehuevi Community under supervision. The role involves meter readings, system maintenance, and on-call emergency coverage, with salary ranging $16.25–$17.00/hr DOE.

The position is full-time and non-exempt, reporting to the Water Department Manager. Candidate must have a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds, with willingness to travel

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to travel and attend evening/weekend meetings.
• Must be on call 24 hours and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Read meters monthly for billing.
• Take daily/weekly readings per EPA guidelines.
• Identify parts and equipment for water/sewer systems.
• Maintain pumps and distribution lines daily.
• Respond to emergencies 24 hours a day.
• Assist in all operations of water and sewer systems.
