Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a field technician to support water damage mitigation efforts. The role involves pumping and extracting water, mold remediation, and handling specialized equipment under supervision.

You will follow safety protocols, and assist with containment and air-drying systems while protecting client belongings. Responsibilities include vehicle checks, daily safety, and timely reporting of time and materials used.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in water pumping and extraction techniques.
• Knowledge of mold remediation procedures and safety.
• Ability to move and reset contents without further damage.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from the team leader.
• Follow MSDS protocols for chemical products used in mitigation.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks and keep vehicles clean.
• Demonstrate mastery of BELFOR's damage processes and equipment use under supervision.
• Assemble containment systems using Neg Air, HEPA vacuums, and related gear.
• Use cleaning and disinfecting solutions appropriately in confined spaces.
• Use lifting techniques and protect client possessions.
• Install injectidry, directed-in, and octi-dry systems and manage air flow.
• Comply with BELFOR standards to safeguard client property.
• Demonstrate customer service knowledge and professional conduct.
• Meet deadlines and work through time constraints.
• Travel and night/weekend work may be required.
