Job summary

Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join the Jacksonville Plant. The role covers maintaining and repairing Gorman-Rupp and other pumps, vacuum systems, and plant equipment within a wastewater treatment facility.

Ideal candidate has 3–5 years mechanical maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in water/wastewater is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for pumps and plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment including Gorman-Rupp and other pumps, compressors, motors, and VFDs.
• Support plant operations to ensure efficient system performance.
• Follow safety guidelines and regulatory standards, use PPE.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and perform installations as needed.
• Perform plumbing and electrical work related to plant equipment.
• Handle additional duties and participate in on-call shift coverage.
