Job summary

United Staging & Rigging in Salem, NH is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations and support our event-production and rental activities.

This hand-on leadership role combines managing staff with direct involvement in pulling, packing, staging, receiving, and inventory control. Standard hours are Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm with schedule flexibility and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, rental, logistics, or event-production operations experience.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with computerized inventory or rental management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with equipment maintenance is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations and workflow.
• Supervise, train, and assign work to warehouse and over-hire personnel.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and efficient warehouse.
• Oversee equipment pulling, packing, staging, loading, and unloading.
• Coordinate receiving and processing of returned rental equipment.
• Maintain accurate rental inventory and investigate discrepancies.
• Track missing, damaged, and repair-status equipment.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain warehouse supplies, tools, and expendables.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders.
• Plan upcoming projects with Sales and Production.
• Maintain a rolling forecast of workload and staffing.
