Job summary

Ascendo-Resources is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for a fast-paced manufacturing environment in New Jersey. You will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory, shipping, receiving, and distribution, ensuring product flow and accuracy while prioritizing safety.

The role is hands-on, requiring floor presence, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and flexibility for extended hours including occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse management or operations leadership.
• Experience supervising warehouse teams in fast-paced settings.
• Strong knowledge of receiving, shipping, inventory control, and distribution.
• Familiarity with safety, quality, and compliance procedures in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily receiving, warehousing, inventory, shipping, and distribution.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and staff.
• Ensure inventory is accurately processed and documented.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee cycle counts.
• Ensure proper storage and FIFO rotation.
• Coordinate with production to ensure materials are available.
• Oversee outbound shipments and shipping documentation.
• Support transportation scheduling and daily delivery coverage.
• Monitor KPIs and identify cost reductions and efficiency gains.
• Lead training and reinforce policies; ensure safety standards.
